Background
Bill Harrison International Healer and Medium was a much loved friend to many, and his passing in April 2008 left an irreplaceable void in people’s hearts. It also left questions unanswered about his annual Healing Weekend, which for over 12 years had grown to be an important part of the Spiritual Calendar in the UK.

The Healing Weekend 2009, in partnership with Secret World, the charity close to Bill's heart, is a new 3 day outdoor event to be held at Secret World, in Somerset. The event acknowledges and honours Bill's life and work and begins a new chapter for us all. Thank you Bill. We know you will always be there for us.
The New Healing Weekend Emerges
After a good deal of time and careful thought, Ron Tropman and I began to realise that we were being strongly guided to create a new healing event. We knew that it was important to build an event which people wanted; one they would support whole-heartedly. Our biggest challenge was that we had no resources and no finance – and so we had to start from scratch. The response to our ‘back to basics’ appeal was amazing. We became inspired by people’s support and coupled with our faith in what we were doing, we launched The Healing Weekend 2009. Every step of the way so far, we have been guided and inspired. We know that everyone who joins us for this event, will feel the same way too!

Our Vision
* To develop an event whereby people can experience a wide range
of healing and complementary therapies and also to learn more about
their possible benefits
* To bring ‘healers’, healing organisations, spiritual workers, holistic
businesses and friends together
* To provide the opportunity for support, friendship, networking and
learning
* To raise funds for Secret World and to increase awareness of the
wonderful work they do
* To establish an annual holistic event to promote and showcase the work
of healers, therapists, artists, stall holders and Secret World Wildlife
Rescue
